Spring Butterfly
Hi crafter's
Time for another Chocolate Baroque colour challenge. I was very fortunate to be one of the top 5 last month which was very exciting.
I started this card by stamping the butterflies from the Breath of Spring stamp set three times with brown ink. Colour in the butterflies with Spectrum Noir pencils in shades of green, orange and yellow. Blend the colours around the edge with ink dusters leaving the area near the butterflies quite light. To create some texture around the edge I used clear texture paste through a flowery stencil leaving the centre untouched. Leave to dry. To bring out the texture paste more blend orange, green and a little brown ink with some cut'n'dry foam. Ink up the words from the stamp set in brown ink. Add a little colour with the ink dusters then cut the words up. Run the brown ink pad around the edges then glue in place as shown. Mat on to brown card then on to a white base card.
That's about it for this one.
Thanks for looking
